Off-label drug use (OLDU) involves prescribing currently available and marketed medications for an indication or using a dosage or dosage form that have not been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We present documents intended to provide general information and references regarding off-label drug use, as well as more detailed information on the rationale for and use of a specific off-label drugs (drug-specific documents will be uploaded as they are completed.)
NTSAD does not advocate for or against off-label use of specific drugs for any individuals. Patients should always consult with their healthcare provider about any changes to their medication regimen.
