Chloe was diagnosed with Tay-Sachs disease in late November 2022. Tay-Sachs is an extremely rare neurodegenerative genetic illness, and no cures or effective treatments exist. There is hope, however, that one day there will be, as research continues to advance. We are thankful for the support and generosity that is making this possible. You can join us in Moving a Mile for Hope on September 9th. Post a picture on social media of you walking, running, dancing and use the hashtag #NTSADDOH23 and #NTSADMoveforHope, and tag @NTSAD.

If you are close by, you can stop by at Jacob’s Beach, in Guilford, CT, on September 9th at 10:30am for a singalong. Tay-Sachs has greatly affected Chloe’s ability to speak, but she is still able to sing and music brings her joy. We will be signing along to Chloe’s favorite tunes, honoring rare families and those who support them.
